Hi! My name is Madeline Neuman and I am so excited to be begin my fourth year of teaching the ballet and pointe at NBDS, as well as a few combination classes this year! I am so grateful to be part of the NBDS family. I love every aspect of teaching at this wonderful and welcoming school!

In grade school, I received 13 years of extensive classical ballet training. I also enjoyed studying contemporary, lyrical, and jazz for several years, as well as a few years of hip hop and gymnastics. I was an assistant ballet instructor for 3 years and loved it so much that at the beginning of my senior year of high school, I opened my own ballet school and successfully ran it for 5 years and have been teaching ever since! This is my 11th year of teaching dance and I’m looking forward to the several years to come!

As an instructor, I strive to create an exciting, creative, energetic, disciplined, safe, and fun atmosphere as I teach students the fundamentals of dance. My prayer is that this fun and beautiful form of art will enrich students lives as it has mine and that they will leave the studio with a greater knowledge of dance, improved technique, as well as feeling confident in themselves, happy, encouraged, understood, cared for, and treasured, as a dancer and as a person.
